Leaflet 21a in the Needlework Development Scheme’s series “And So To Sew” includes two full patterns and instructions for sewing a girl’s waistcoat and skirt.
The skirt is designed to fit a 26 inch waist, while the waistcoat is to fit a 32 or 34 inch bust. Both patterns are made from simple pieces and are easily adapted for other sizes using the instructions for adjusting patterns in leaflet 12a
