I found this poor misfit hand puppet in K-Mart today. I desperately wanted to bring it home but I have no room!
Whilst I wonder how on earth it made it through quality control, I’m glad it did because my daughter and I had a great laugh playing with it before we decided we should act like the adults we are. Party poopers 😉

Like many knitters these days, my take anywhere project is usually a pair of socks. Having just finished a pair, I grabbed a new skein of sock yarn and my super kitsch Christmas Kitty project bag as I ran out the door on my way to the local auctions.
Casting on, however, took on totally new dimensions in danger and brain confustication as I was a bit late and only had time to register before the auctions began.
My brain: OK, cast on 68. 1, 2, 3
Auctioneer: 20! Who’ll give me 20?
My Brain: 21, 22, 23
Auctioneer: 60!
My brain: 61, 62. Wait. That doesn’t look like 60 stitches.
My Brain: 1, 2, 3…
Repeat.
Several times.
😛

My little Charlie really loves Doctor Who, Chameleon Circuit (and his sister).
Here’s a video his sister made combines all those things in one. I cried with the laughing at the cuteness but that may just be because I’m his Mum. Or maybe not. I especially like the bit near the end. New lyrics, yay! 🙂

This week’s flower loom tutorial is all about the twirl centre. This style of centre can be made on any flower, any shape, size, or material. I hope you like it. I have about another 110 flower loom videos to go 🙂
I had to learn some new techniques to make the intro more interesting, so I practiced some of them in an animation that I call “Strange Garden”. It’s a simple piece made with images and footage that I had on my computer but I had a lot of fun with it and will probably make more in the future (with better graphics and a storyline and everything!)
