The sample was knit with size 10 perle cotton and 2.25mm needles and measures 3 cm/1ΒΌ” wide

Row 1 (RS): k2, yo, k2tog, (yo) twice, k2tog, k4

Row 2 (WS): k6, p1, k1, yo, k2tog, k1

Row 3: k2, yo, k2tog, k7

Row 4: k8, yo, k2tog, k1

Row 5: k2, yo, k2tog, k1, [(yo) twice, k2tog] two times, k2

Row 6: k4, (p1, k2) twice, yo, k2tog, k1

Row 7: k2, yo, k2tog, k9

Row 8: Cast off 3, k6, yo, k2tog, k1
