New Pattern for Lace Edging

New pattern for lace edgig fro Cornelia Mee's Exercises in Knitting



K = Knit
YO = Yarn Over
K2tog = Knit two stitches together
P = Purl

Using crochet cotton and appropriately-sized needles, cast on 12.

Pattern consists of an 8-row repeat:

1: Slip 1, K1, YO twice, K2tog, YO twice, K2tog, YO twice, K2tog, YO twice, K2tog, YO twice, K2tog.
2: K2, P1, K2, P1, K2, P1, K2, P1, K2, P1, K2.
3: Slip 1, K16.
4: Cast off 5, K11. You will now have 12 stitches on the needle.
5: Slip 1, K2, YO twice, K2tog, K1, YO four times, K2tog, K1, YO twice, K2tog, K1.
6: K3, P1, K3, P1, K1, P1, K3, P1, K3.
7: Slip 1, K16.
8: Cast off 5, K11.

Twelve stitches remain.

Repeat rows 1-8 until you reach the desired length.
