In Words

Cast on 26sts and knit one row.

Row 1 (RS): Yo, k1, yo, k2, (k2tog) twice, k2, (yo, k2tog) twice, k4, [yo, k1] 5 times, yo, k4 (32 sts).

Row 2: Sl1 wyif, k1, p2, k11, p2, k2, p13.

Row 3: Yo, k3, yo, k1, (k2tog) twice, k1, (yo, k2tog) twice, k2, k2tog, k11, k2tog, k2 (30 sts).

Row 4: Sl1 wyif, k1, p2tog, p9, p2tog, k2, p13 (28 sts).

Row 5: Yo, k5, yo, (k2tog) twice, (yo, k2tog) twice, k2, k2tog, k7, k2tog, k2 (26 sts).

Rows 6 and 8: Sl1 wyif, k1, p9, k2, p13.

Row 7: Yo, k3, k2tog, k2, (yo, k2tog) three times, k13.

Rows 1 to 8 form the pattern. Repeat for the desired length.
