hello…would you please tell me what the meaning of the “s” in the brackets means? eg: (s, sl1, k1 psso)….i know the slip one knit one pass slip stitch over but i’m not sure what the “s” at the beginning indicates.
thank u.
Sorry but I can’t see anywhere in the pattern that has an s in the brackets like that. Which row is the problem on?
What was the correction to Row 9?
The chart was correct but there were some extra yarn overs accidentally inserted into the text. It has been fixed for over 3 years though.
why is this called apple leaf tidy here and on the previous page it’s called queen Anne’s Lace Doily Afghan?
I don’t know to be honest. The owner of All Free Knitting changes the names of many of the patterns they link to.
Can you tell me how big you need to make for queen size bedspread and how much tread you would need. I want to knit for a bedspread. I’m looking for knitted bedspreads with thread. Please reply to

I have recently handspun some fine alpaca fleece (probably 3ply New Zealand) and am thinking I’ll knit it into a cot blanket which could also be used as a baby shawl/wrap. Would alpaca be suitable for this project? I think it is delightful.
Yes, I think it would be lovely.
Hello- Can you tell me why in the written portion of the fabric it says to S1, k1, po but in the chart it indicates that these are SSK? Those are two different techniques and I’m not sure which one to do.
It’s two ways to do the same thing. You can safely choose whichever technique you prefer.
Hi,
This pattern looks nice and easy for me. My question is: how can I add tabs to it as I am thinking of doing a curtain?
Thank you and have a nice day.
