Materials
I used a total of approximately 50gm 8 ply (DK) 100% wool various shades of green, blue and purple @ approx 100mtr/96 yards per 50gm.
Tension
20sts and 40 rows to 4 inches (10cm) over garter st on 4.5mm needles, or needles needed to obtain gauge.
Technique
Cast on 47sts and knit 94 rows, changing colour every row.
Cast off.
To avoid having 190 ends to sew in afterwards (!!!) use 6-8 colours at a time and strand colours not in use up the side of your work. Join in a different colour whenever one runs out.
