Materials
I used 50gm of Cleckheaton Country and Patons 8ply 100% Wool in light blue (colour 1641)
Tension
20sts and 28 rows to 4 inches (10cm) over st st on 4.5mm needles, or needles needed to obtain gauge.
Abbreviations
= Ktbl, Knit through the back of the st (with right side facing), purl through the back of the stitch (with wrong side facing)
= Knit (with right side facing), Purl (with wrong side facing)
= Purl (with right side facing), Knit (with wrong side facing)
= RPT, Right Purl Twist. Knit second stitch on left hand needle but do not drop st off the needle. Purl first stitch on left hand needle and drop both sts off the needle.
= LPT, Left Purl Twist. Purl second stitch on left hand needle through the back of the stitch but do not drop st off the needle. Knit first stitch on left hand needle and drop both sts off the needle.
= RT, Right Twist. Knit second stitch on left hand needle but do not drop st off the needle. Knit first stitch on left hand needle and drop both sts off the needle.
= LT, Left Twist. Knit second stitch on left hand needle through the back of the stitch but do not drop st off the needle. Knit first stitch on left hand needle and drop both sts off the needle.
= MB, Make Bobble. (knit, purl, knit) into the same st, turn, P3, turn, slip one, knit 2 together, pass slipped st over.
Technique
Cast on 47sts, knit one row, turn
Purl across, increasing 8sts evenly across the row.
Work chart through twice, then rows 1-12 once.
Next row: Knit, decreasing 8sts evenly across the row.
Next row: Purl. Cast off and block.
