Materials
I used approximately 35gm 8 ply (DK) 100% wool in green @ approx 100mtr/96 yards per 50gm and small amounts of navy blue, red, and white.
Tension
20sts and 28 rows to 4 inches (10cm) over st-st on 4.5mm needles, or needles needed to obtain gauge.
Abbreviations
st-st = stocking st
Technique
Cast on 47sts and work following chart in st st in your preferred technique.
I worked rows 1-14 in fairisle, rows 15-19 in intarsia, with green duplicate st columns between the carriages, rows 20-27 in duplicate st and rows 28-32 in fairisle. I then repeated the same techniques for the second train.
