Tension

10½ stitches to 2 inches in width, measured over stocking stitch.

Pattern

Cast on 160 stitches.

1st row: * K1, P1, rep. from * to end of row.

2nd row: * P1, K1, rep. from * to end of row.

Rep. 1st and 2nd rows once, then 1st row once.

** 6th row: (P1, K1) twice, P1, * P1, K5, rep. from * to last 5 sts, (K1, P1) twice, K1

7th row: (K1, P1) twice, K1, * P5, K1, rep. from * to last 5 sts, (P1, K1) twice, P1

8th row: (P1, K1) twice, P1, * K1, P1, K3, P1, rep. from * to last 5 sts, (K1, P1) twice, K1

To Make Up

With a slightly damp cloth and warm iron, press lightly.

Using a single length of 4-Ply Wool embroider spots at corner of diamonds.
