Repeat this tiny border along your project, making sure to end with the same element as you started. Eg: If you start with a flower, end with a flower. If you start wth a cat-flower-dog section, end with a cat-flower-dog section.

I would embroider this design with one to two strands from a 6 strand embroidery floss in lots of pretty colours. Because of rationing in the UK after World War Two, this design was probably intended to use up tiny scraps of embroidery thread.

Print in landscape mode to fit the width of the design on an A4 sized sheet of paper
