Wide knitted shell lace with eyelet triangles

The sample was knit with size 10 perle cotton and 2.25mm needles and measures 9½ cm/3¾” wide

Pattern

Note: Double yarn overs are made into two stitches on the following row by working “k1, p1” into them.

Cast on 32 sts and knit one row

Row 1 (RS): k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2, (yo) twice, p2tog, k17, yo, p1

Row 2 (WS): yo, p2tog, k19, p1, k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 3: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k22, yo, p2tog

Row 4: yo, p2tog, k22, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 5: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2, [(yo) twice, p2tog] two times, k16, yo, p2tog

Row 6: yo, p2tog, k18, (p1, k2) twice, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 7: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k24, yo, p2tog

Row 8: yo, p2tog, k24, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 9: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2, [(yo) twice, p2tog] three times, k16, yo, p2tog

Row 14: yo, p2tog, k19, (p1, k2) four times, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 15: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k31, yo, p2tog

Row 16: yo, p2tog, k31, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 17: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2, [(yo) twice, p2tog] five times, k19, yo, p2tog

Row 18: yo, p2tog, k21, (p1, k2) five times, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Row 19: k2, (yo, p2tog) four times, k36, yo, p2tog

Row 20: yo, p2tog, k1, on left hand needle, pass the next 16sts over the first stitch, k19, (yo, p2tog) four times, k2

Rows 1-20 form the pattern. Repeat for length desired.
