Quilt in Stripes (Lace Chevron Stripe)

Sample for the lace chevron stripe afghan

This bed cover is knit in strips, and joined together using a technique of your choice.

To figure out how much yarn you need, knit a full width swatch (over 61 sts) and use it to figure out how many strips and pattern repeats you will need for your chosen size. Figure out how much yarn you used to knit your swatch by weighing it and using a McMorran yarn balance (or using the yardage on the ball band if using commercial yarn) or undo the swatch and measure the length of the yarn. Make sure to buy extra for joining the strips and adding an edging.
