Abbreviations
Sl = slip one stitch with the yarn at the back of the work
Sl wyif = slip one stitch with yarn at the front of the work
K = knit
P = purl
Yo = yarn over
K2tog = knit two together
P2tog = purl 2 together
Ssk = slip slip knit, which can also be worked as slip 1, knit 1, pass the slipped stitch over if desired
Psso = pass the slipped stitch over
Turn = turn the work, leaving the remaining stitches of the row unworked.
The original pattern says to use “two fine knitting needles”, but does not state what size, or the thickness of the yarn used.
Cast on 62 stitches and knit one row.
