Cast on a multiple of 6sts and knit 6 rows.

1st row: K3, *YO, K1, YO, K2tog, K1, K2tog, repeat from * to last 3st, K3

2nd, and every alternate row: K3, P to last 3 sts, K3

3rd row: K3, *YO, K3, YO, Sl 1 purlways, K2tog, PSSO, repeat from * to last 3st, K3

5th row: K3, *K2tog, K1, K2tog, YO, K1, YO, repeat from * to last 3st, K3

7th row: K3, * Sl 1 purlways, K2tog, PSSO, YO, K3, YO, repeat from * to last 3st, K3

8th row: K3, P to last 3 sts, K3

Rows 1-8 form pattern. Repeat for desired length, then K 6 rows and cast off.

Cast on a multiple of 6sts and knit 6 rows.

Commence from row 1 of chart and knit a further 6 rows plain before casting off.
