SSSK is a method of decreasing that is a double-decrease; meaning, it decreases two stitches for one stitch. It is a left-leaning decrease.


  • Slip one stitch from the left-hand needle to the right-hand needle as if to knit; repeat from * two times more (3 slipped stitches total); insert left-hand needle from the front to the back of all stitches at the same time and knit them together.
