[edit] The Official KnitWiki Yarn Shop Listing Format
It's OK if you can't fill in all the details requested below. Another editor can always add more information at a later date.
Each Yarn Shop should have its own page in the appropriate category for its location. Despite having a mailing address, a store that does not have a retail store where customers can shop in person should only be added to the Online Shops category.
To create a new Yarn Shop Listing, search for the name of the store using the search box. Because some stores in different locations have the same name, name the store along with it's city, like this: "Yarn Store, Mytown". If the store does not already have a listing, you will get a response that says there is no page with that title, and a link in red that says "create this page". Click the link and follow the instructions below.
Yarn Shop information should be entered in the following format:

Please fill out the list below with the stated information. If the store does not have a particular item, enter "none". If you do not know the answer, enter "unknown".

[edit] Retail Store
This information should be supplied for stores that have a retail store where customers can shop in person. Delete this section if there is no retail store.

List the business hours of the store.
[edit] Getting There
Describe public transportation or lack thereof. Give any hints for finding the store, if it's not straightforward. Describe the parking situation for drivers.
[edit] What You'll Find
Give a small description of the store, including hidden rooms or where they stash the deals. Make sure to be descriptive only, do not provide a review. They are not allowed on this site for legal reasons.
[edit] Online Store
Having an online store is different from simply having a website for the store. An online store should allow the customer to make purchases without having to e-mail or call the store. Delete this section if there is no online store.
[edit] Customer Service Hours
List the hours where customer service is available via telephone.

Give a small description of the store, including any sections of the site to make sure to visit. Make sure to be descriptive only, do not provide a review. They are not allowed on this site for legal reasons.

Finally, please add the following code at the end of your article so your review shows up in the list of yarn reviews: [[Category:City Stores]]
Replace "City" with the name of the City where the store is located, or "Online" if it does not have a retail store. You can add multiple categories if they apply. You may also supplement "City" with a major metropolitan area or other logical division, i.e. "Boston Area".

Please include all the code (except for the offsite links) even if you aren't going to fill out all of the information.
