A redirect is a page with no content other than an entry in the form:

#REDIRECT [[internal link]]

A redirect automatically sends you to a new page, or gives you a clickable link to go to the new page (depending on how you got there).

If a redirect points to another redirect the second redirect becomes a clickable link.
