Upload a file

You can upload files in a large number of formats, from images, pdf files, Excel files and Word documents, to various video formats including iPod video mp4s. Please make sure that all files uploaded to the KnitWiki contribute something to the article you are writing.

1. In the sidebar, under toolbox, click "Upload file"
2. Next to the Source filename, click Browse to locate the file on your computer.
3. Change the Destination filename to something descriptive, if necessary.
4. Fill in the Summary, if necessary.
5. Click the Upload file button.

After you've uploaded some files, use them in your articles.
