Lace knit oak leaf lace edging

from “The Ladies’ Guide to Elegant Lace Patterns, Etc.”

The sample was knit with size 10 perle cotton and 2.25mm needles and measures 5 cm/2″ wide

Note: All double yarn overs are made into two stitches on the following row by working “k1, p1” into them.

Cast on 10 sts and knit 1 row.

Row 1 (RS): k2, yo, p2tog, k1, [(yo) twice, k2tog] twice, k1

Row 2 (WS): k3, p1, k2, p1, k1, yo, p2tog, k2

Row 3: k2, yo, p2tog, k3, [(yo) twice, k2tog] twice, k1

Row 4: k3, p1, k2, p1, k3, yo, p2tog, k2

Row 5: k2, yo, p2tog, k5, [(yo) twice, k2tog] twice, k1

Row 6: k3, p1, k2, p1, k5, yo, p2tog, k2

Row 7: k2, yo, p2tog, k7, [(yo) twice, k2tog] twice, k1

Row 8: k3, p1, k2, p1, k7, yo, p2tog, k2

Row 9: k2, yo, p2tog, k14
