Sleeves (both alike)

Cast on 48 sts.

Work in rib of K1, P1 for 2 inches.

Work in body patt., inc. each end every 6th row till 68 sts. on needle.

Continue in patt. till sleeve is 7½ inches.

Shaping:

K2tog each end every 2nd row till 58 sts.

Then K2tog each end every row till 6 sts.

Cast off.

To Make Up

Sew flaps to shoulders.

Sew band across back of neck.

Sew up side seams.

Sew sleeve seams.

Stitch to armhole.

Sew 5 buttons each side of front band to correspond with buttonholes.
