The Cables and Lace Afghan Project

These squares were donated by people from all over the world and were made into a baby blanket and donated to charity. Copyright for all squares remains with their designers.

Notes:

  • The 2 knitters that were supplying squares 11 and 12 never sent them, so to make a total of 12 squares just repeat your 2 favourites. I figured 5 years was more than long enough to wait.
  • Square 4 in the finished blanket is a different colour than in the directions because the original fell apart in the wash (moths got into my storage box).

2 squares to make a

Finish your blanket with 3 rounds of double crochet (US single crochet) in colours to complement your squares.

All squares for this afghan are interchangeable with the squares from the Oddball Sampler Afghan which I designed in 97-98
