Materials
I used approximately 25gm Cleckheaton Country 8 ply (DK) 100% wool in Colour 1935 (light blue) for the background and approximately 20gm Cleckheaton Country 8 ply (DK) 100% wool in Colour 1931 (apple green) for the map @ approx 100mtr/96 yards per 50gm
Tension
20sts and 28 rows to 4 inches (10cm) over st-st on 4.5mm needles, or needles needed to obtain gauge.
Abbreviations
st-st = stocking st
Technique
Cast on 47 sts and work the chart below using the intarsia technique. Work the background in seed st, and the motif in st st.
Cast off neatly and block
