Hi
I found your site and all the lovely things you have made thru searching for a particular type of gingham smocking done by a friend from Kiribati. She had shown me how to do it when my daughter was small and now I can't remember. It is the flower effect on the blue gingham that I am talking about. I would be very grateful if you would let me know how to do it again. A google search has proved fruitless. I will be calling back at your site in the future to see your latest projects.
Regards
Carys

Hi I found your amazing site while looking for a particular type of smocking. The blue gingham 'flower' one. A friend from Kiribati had shown me how to do it when my daughter was small but I have forgotten and a google search has proved fruitless (apart from your pic). I would be so grateful if you would email me and let me know how to do it. I have a granddaughter now! And want to make a sundress.
I will definitely be back on a regular basis to look at the lovely things you make.
Kind regards
Carol
