Hi Sarah

I wonder if you would please include our charity venture on your site. I will give you the URL that links to the publicity that Lincraft gave us.
Slippers with Soul is our venture.

Dear Sarah,
The patterns given on your web site are really really very pretty. I'm planning to make a top based on your leaf and berry lace pattern. I'll let you know how it turns out :-)

Hi,

I made the Foxglove Tea Cozy, and I wanted to add the pattern to the database on Ravelry.com. I would really appreciate any additional info you have on the pattern. For instance, that is a great old photo, and it got me to wondering about its history. I also don't know who to put down as the designer. I noticed you mentioned Ravelry in your blog. If you want to message me on Ravelry, I am "sillyhilly." I'll add it to the database, and if you have time, I'd appreciate it if you check that I got all the info correct. Thanks for making some spiffy patterns available on the web!

Hi,

My partner is desperate for a knitted christmas jumper. He is wanting a christmas tree on the front. I was wondering if you knew where I may be able to find an adult knitting pattern for a christmas tree jumper?

Thanks Rachel

Just found your site. I was googling for patterns for toys to make for my little grand daughters. Your patterns are so easy but look fantastic! will let you know how they go! Sheree from Australia

Sarah,
Your site (not only!) about the small looms is sooo great, I loved most the Crazy Daisy instructions, tipps and hints.

That is the reason why I awarded you :)

I'm knitting The Feather and Fan Comfort Shawl using lace weight yarn. When I get to the example on the last page of the pattern I understand to start over at row 57 and use the 5 times** My question is how do I do more repeats? Will I start over again at row 57 and then use 7 times**? Thank you for your help and wonderful pattern. Patrice

re: www.knitting-and.com/knitting/patterns/doilies/lace-doily.htm

I have a question about rows 5-19. the first step (2nd in row 19) is k into the back of next st, while on row 3 it has k into front and back of the next st. is this right, or is my copy missing something?

TIA,
Courtney

Hi Sarah, I have been trying to find you since I picked up a UFO that I downloaded from geocities in 1997 while living in US (am now living in Tasmania). It is a lovely pram cover with leaves (can't find the exact name at the moment because my can is curled up between my chest the the keyboard :)) and I don't want to bother her but it was originally a patons pattern). I am working on it now and am hoping to finish it for an expected great grandchild. To cut to the chase I need to print out another copy because the copy I am using is in pretty bad shape. Do you still have a digital version? (can't bring it up any longer on geocities). My Ravelry name is 'splitstitches'.

Hey Sarah,
I've wanted to knit your "Lace Panelled Baby Blanket", but I was confused by the pattern. The Lace panels are supposed to be knit over 16 sts., but not all the rows have 16 sts. How does this work out, because it did not work out for me! I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help!!
Thanks!

Hello Sarah,

I found your lovely Daffodil Tea Cozy pattern on the Internet and I've decided to make it. I have one big problem with the pattern. I've managed to get through the first daffodil line without any trouble. The problem is with getting ready for the second line of daffodils. Example: K3 cast on 10 sts repeat to end of row (159 sts). I do not know how to increase in this situation. I have approximately 40 sts on my needle after doing the first daffodil line. Can you explain to me how I increase on this row. Thank very much,

Pamela

Sarah,
I wanted to thank you for posting the 1945 xmas stocking pattern. My family grew up with these exact stockings my Nana had made for everyone. Last year the moths got to my Dad's stocking she had made 60 years ago. It was going to be my xmas present to him to make him a new one, but I couldn't figure out the structure. Now I don't have to! This has truly made my day. Thank you!
