All Done and Finished

and worn round the right way this time. (Note: Miss Brittany doesn't habitually wear her hair this way. When she asked if it was tidy enough I lied and said yes. She's 11 1/2 already & I only have a limited number of years left to publicly embarrass her so I thought I'd take advantage of the opportunity :-P)

You can see in the fiull size photo that the red and orange yarn have angelina fibre in them (that sparkly stuff). I've noticed that with a yarn this thick (Aussie 12 ply or US 2 ply heavy worsted), it looks fine in the yarn when it's spun and finished but it works its way out as you knit. I'm sure it will eventually all fall out, but the yarn is pretty without it so I'm counting it as a lesson learned and will only put it in yarn with finer plies in future.

Since Bink put this one on as soon as it had dried (I always wet block jumpers after finishing them even when I haven't spilt fruit juice on them), I decided she deserves another one. Photos of the swatch tomorrow!

:-)
