I've finished the knitting on Miss Brittany's jumper but I'm not convinced the 45% neckline is going to be big enough. I measured it, and it will go over her head when stretched, but whether it's comfortable for her to put on is another matter.

Anyway, I'll get her to try it on in the morning before school and if it's not big enough I'll undo the neck rib, rip back the last 12 or 14 rounds and make it a bit deeper. Or I could just leave the rib open at one side. Or lower the back. Or something.

Then all I have to do is darn in the ends, neaten up under the arms, wash, block and it's done!

I usually take more than 5 days to knit Miss Brittany a jumper, but I spilt fruit juice on it the night before last and even though I think I sponged it all out OK, I wanted to wash it as soon as possible just in case. It doesn't feel sticky but you never know....

Now I'm off to bed because it's almost midnight!
