Fixin's

The centre of Lucy's Diamonds is almost 2/3 knit

so I thought it was about time to get the fixin's together for my next project. Especially since I'm a sick, sick knitter with only 1 WIP and no UFO's

:-P

Perle 8 cotton in red and black, black tassels and silk lining in red and black. On the way: 2 silver rings & from the stash: a vial of antique silver beads c1920.

So, what am I going to make, you ask? A miser's purse of course! I'm going to use the pattern from Home Work. It's a very abbreviated pattern so it's taken a bit of experimenting to figure out the gauge, needle size etc and I've changed the stitch very slightly because it would bias terribly as written.

I haven't decided whether I'll use the red or black lining, and the tassels will be covered with the silver beads.

Now I must run because I think the dinner's burning!

Georgous scarf. What yarn are you using?

Thanks Tara! I'm using my own handspun yarn merino, roughly the same thickness as an Aussie commercial 2 ply, or about the same as 2/22
