Here's the finished Badly Written Doily, knit up to round 174 and then crocheted off with light apple green perle 8 cotton thread.

I washed it, then thread milinery wire through the crocheted loops in the hopes that this would be a suitable way to block it, but it turns out that I didn't have enough wire so I'm going to have to get some more and try again later.

I am very pleased with it though. I think it will look nice with a plain green homespun tablecloth underneath and a nice little green lamp on my bedside table. That is, AFTER we move and I buy a bedside table!
