An Illustrated Introduction by Brittany Overton, age 3 & 7 months (as told to her Mum)

 Hello, my name is Brittany.
I like to play tag.
I eat long turkey. I eat one end and my friends eats the other end.
I like to eat cheese and I like spaghetti and pasta. I don't like soup and I don't like onion either.
I don't like having nightmares. I have bad nightmares like lost. I was lost long, long ago and I screamed very loudly and I was lost.
I like dollies best. Fiona is my favourite dolly.
I like cartoons best too.
Mummy has brown hair and big teeth.
I just want to watch Sesame Street. Big Bird is my favourite.
I like to drink out of cups. I like treasure boxes. You put stuff in treasure boxes.
I like computers and mouses. I hate them when they crash.
I've got a keyboard and it plays. My keyboard doesn't do anything. I play Humpty Dumpty on it but it just plays Hairgy. Hairgy is a sad song. Hairgy is my best friend.
Monitors type and keys press and they type but only if I had a little computer so I would know what I have to do for my story.
I like to laugh.
I like to say nothing. I like to say something. I like to make up stories about Mummies and Daddies.
I'm tired.
I like children. I'm going to write some letters.
I've got another dolly called Zig Zaggy. That is Zig Zaggy and her mother.
I know a person who has got a bell on his hat. That's Noddy. Noddy is a boy. I'm going to do one thing more. That's a kiss. To say goodbye to Noddy. That's the end. 
This is my next drawing about Anna and Handa. I'm gonna draw glasses. I can do a shadow. Do you know what these spots are? They go round. That's a necklace. It has to have a line. It's going to be something else with eyes and a mouth. It's a children.
It's going to be a long story.
